What "nominated repairer" means

If your insurance is with Aioi Nissay Dowa or FMG, we are on their preferred shop list. That means: drive straight in, no second quote needed, the insurer pays us direct and you only see the excess.

Aioi covers most Toyota Financial Services policies in NZ. FMG is the rural and farm insurer, big in Te Awamutu and around the South Waikato, if you have got a ute on a farm policy, that is usually FMG.

If your insurer is not Aioi or FMG

We still do the work. AA, IAG, State, Vero, Tower, we deal with all of them. The process is slightly longer (your insurer will want a quote from us first) but it is the same outcome. You bring us the car and the claim number, we quote, the insurer approves, we repair.

What we need from you

• The claim number (your insurer gives you this when you lodge the claim).
• The car, or photos if you cannot drive it.
• Your contact details and a preferred drop-off date.

Courtesy car

For an insurance job we will get you into a courtesy car at no extra cost. Mention it when you book so we hold one for you.

PREQUAL 5-star

We hold a PREQUAL 5-star certification, which is the independent quality assessment insurers use to vet repair shops. Five stars is the top rating. Most major insurers will not list a non-PREQUAL shop, it is the floor for being a nominated repairer.
